to get the Biswa Banga Parks. Thanks to the West Bengal State Tourism Department.
According to the Top West Bengal Tourism Officials as a result of this step, the footfall
and tourist footfalls in these regions would increase multifold.

As per the latest tourism plans, these parks would mainly be located by the sea,
alongside the Saikat Sarani, the main road which connects Digha, New Digha,
Shankarpur, and Tajpur. The tourism department through this latest initiative plans to
have chairs, which would have roofing above. Apart from this, there are also plans for
the construction of creature models like dolphins, octopus, certain fishes and more
made from concrete. These would be placed mainly at the entrances and throughout the
parks. Not only would this but there also be some beautiful lighting, artificial mounds,
and fountains to make these parks top attractions for the visiting tourists. In regard to
Shankarpur, there are plans to concretize the banks of the canal side and also for the
construction of a small bridge for connecting the banks. The State Government has
already allotted a total of Rs 14 crores for the two places- with Rs 7.50 crores for Tajpur
and Rs 6.50 Crores for Shankarpur.
