The Biswa Bangla Convention is the “State of the Art Building “which has been built on 5.5 Acres of land in Digha. The foundation stone for the same has had been laid on July 2017. This building was mainly built mainly for hosting international conventions and exhibitions along with business meets with a view of for the promotion of tourism, commerce, and industry. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 350 crores. It is indeed great to note this magnificent building has four-story that also houses an exhibition center covering an area of 1,000 square meters. Along with this, there is also a seminar hall with a capacity of 300 persons, conference room and a modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,000 persons. You would be happy to note that each floor on this giant building covers as much as 1,722 square meter area.
International Business Summit this year proposed to be Held at Digha
A recent major development has also happened in terms of Digha being the proposed location for the International Business Summit in West Bengal. The event which is held every year in winter is likely to be held this year between the 9th and the 13th of December. This also is definitely a major boost to tourism in Digha.
